suspensions due to roid use.
A major league steroid policy was created in 2002. and this policy stated that if the player tested positive for the use of anabolic steroids they will be put under a treatment. during this time there was not one player suspended. in 2005 there was a strickter policy due to steroid use which stated that the first positive test will result in a ten day suspension. the second one would result in a thirty day suspension, the third would be sixty days, the fourth would be a full year of active baseball gameplay, and the fifth would result at the discretion of the the commisioner of
Cheaters in the Hall Of Fame
The Baseball Hall Of Fame was created to showcase the best and only the best. During these times in order to be the best you have to sometimes bend the rules, and it can be from corking your bat to juicing yourself with something. some people say that they think it is wrong and that these players should'nt be inducted in to the hall of fame for the reason being that they acutally cheated to make it there. players like sammy sosa, mark macguire, ty cobb, mike scott, ken hrbeck, pete rose and ect, these players are all marked as offenders of americas favorite game, and yet they still find a way to be the leaders of this proffesional sport.

Do you sware to tell the truth nothing but the truth so help you baseball?
All of the players that were put on trial for steroid use were forced to swear unde oath, and yet they still denied the fact that they used steroids. Jose Canseco was one of the players which couldnt admit to using anabolic steroids till about 3 months of trial. this was in 2005 when he and a couple of other players had admitted to using anabolic steroids. there was even a book on him called "juiced" written by Jose canseco himself. this book spoke about his career and the time he had started to use anabolic steroids.

The History of Anabolic Steroids
In the 1930's the germans discovered a drug which they were not very interested in. about two decades later the germans came to see that it was a physical and mental enhancer. the germans tested the steroids on dogs and then on their nazi soldiers so they could smarter, stronger, and faster. steroid use was prohibited in the 1970's. the reason why steroids were prohibited was because there were emense cases of deaths due to anabolic steroids between athletes and american soldiers. i honestly think steroids should only be used if youre required to use it like for example a child with a sickness or even an adult.

Roids and government
In 2004 the house reform government comittee had gotten involved with the prohabition of anabolic steroids.in 2005 there was a hearing which involed famous baseball players, sammy sosa, mark mcgwire, and jose cenceco, and also mlb comissioner bud selig due to the use of anabolic steroids which were illigal in the major leagues. this hearing went on for several months because the government was concerned of americas favorite game apparent failure to regulate the the use of performance enhancing drugs which are steroids. even the president of the united states George w. bush had to be involved. Since the congress leaders did not feel that baseball players and executives could not be trusted in order to solve that issue on their own, they demanded stricter testing policies and punnishments to be active immediately.

How has steroids affected youth ballplayers?
Well there has been many cases of youth players using steroids, many of which we do know of and many of which we dont know of. i honestly think that mlb players have alot to do with the blame of why the youth uses steroids such as pony league players, high school players and, many college players. the reason i think the younger baseball generation uses steroids is because they think they have alot to prove to the major league scouts which expect them to be able to play at the major league level, and to compete against those players who are secretly on steroids. I personally think that steroid use is getting worst by the years because the competition in baseball is now getting harder, due to the use of steroids although there are many players who do not believe in steroids and are aginst it because it takes opportunies away from others. I honestly think that the youth ballplayers should also be tested for steroid use.

Americas game on roids
Steroids has had alot of effect on baseball and many other sports. many proffesional athelets have been suspended or even banned from their sport because of steroid use. now in many sport organazations there are random steroid test which has led sports to not seem the same anymore because of what people findout about thier idols. the reason i am interested in steroid use is beacuse i am an athlete myself, i play baseball to be exact which is the sport that has the most steroid cases.
