A major league steroid policy was created in 2002. and this policy stated that if the player tested positive for the use of anabolic steroids they will be put under a treatment. during this time there was not one player suspended. in 2005 there was a strickter policy due to steroid use which stated that the first positive test will result in a ten day suspension. the second one would result in a thirty day suspension, the third would be sixty days, the fourth would be a full year of active baseball gameplay, and the fifth would result at the discretion of the the commisioner of
Cheaters in the Hall Of Fame
The Baseball Hall Of Fame was created to showcase the best and only the best. During these times in order to be the best you have to sometimes bend the rules, and it can be from corking your bat to juicing yourself with something. some people say that they think it is wrong and that these players should'nt be inducted in to the hall of fame for the reason being that they acutally cheated to make it there. players like sammy sosa, mark macguire, ty cobb, mike scott, ken hrbeck, pete rose and ect, these players are all marked as offenders of americas favorite game, and yet they still find a way to be the leaders of this proffesional sport.

Do you sware to tell the truth nothing but the truth so help you baseball?
All of the players that were put on trial for steroid use were forced to swear unde oath, and yet they still denied the fact that they used steroids. Jose Canseco was one of the players which couldnt admit to using anabolic steroids till about 3 months of trial. this was in 2005 when he and a couple of other players had admitted to using anabolic steroids. there was even a book on him called "juiced" written by Jose canseco himself. this book spoke about his career and the time he had started to use anabolic steroids.
